What could be more fun than a day savoring the magic of the Vermont Renaissance Festival? Being a part of it! We go out of our way to make The Vermont Renaissance Festival a grand and fulfilling experience for every participant from Queen to Merchant, and especially for the Volunteers. Whatever time you have to offer, even as little as one day at the festival, your efforts will be greatly appreciated. Those who give of their time and labor are granted the opportunity to become part of our faire family, make new friends, and help create the premier interactive theater experience in the tri-state area, not to mention the complimentary tickets.
In addition to all of the excitement and grandeur of the festival days, there is plenty of opportunity to help out in the days and months before the faire begins and the days afterwards as we wind down and strike the sets. All volunteers are encouraged to provide their own costuming (subject to approval), but fear not if you do not have access your own renaissance garb. The Vermont Renaissance Festival has a limited supply of loaner costumes available on a first come/first served basis, so please contact us as soon as possible to make arrangements.
Our Queen has said that her greatest treasure is not closeted in her vaults: nothing is more precious to a sovereign than her loyal subjects. Send us an e-mail, and our volunteer coordinator will contact you when the festival is on again.
And we are the dreamers
of dreams…
